LEICESTER return to action after a break of 16 days when reigning champions Poole visit Beaumont Park.
Reserves Josh Auty and Paul Starke change places for the Lions with Auty promoted into the main body of the team, whilst the Pirates have recruited Steve Worrall to guest for the injured Kyle Newman.
Leicester boss Norrie Allan said: “If we thought King’s Lynn was a tough assignment then we can expect another big night of action against arguably the best team in the Elite League. Their record is amazing and we have yet to beat them here.
“I believe that the Pirates have been strengthened with the recent signing of Bjarne Pedersen, and with Krzysztof Buczkowski down as a second-string that tells you the strength of what we are up against. Nevertheless, we shall approach this match in the same way as we always do and that is with a positive head on.”
Poole promoter Matt Ford said: “I was pleased with the way we bounced back from the disappointing performance at Wolverhampton last Monday and we need the same resolve that we showed in Wednesday's victory over the Wolves.
“Krzysztof and Bjarne have both ridden for Leicester although of course the track has been altered over the winter. Leicester have had a mixed bag of home results so far, and that will bring about their own pressures. We can add to that if we go out and ride to our true potential.”
